What Is Belonging Life?

Belonging Life is a spiritual formation community in Phoenix, Arizona — not a traditional church. We're something a little different, not better, and that difference is intentional.

We exist for people who are hungry for more than Sunday services and sermon notes. People who sense that following Jesus was always meant to be a way of life, not a weekly event. People who long to be known, formed, and sent — not just informed.

Our Core Conviction

At Belonging Life, we believe in formation over information. Knowing about Jesus isn't the same as becoming like Jesus. Our entire community is built around helping people apprentice under Christ in practical, embodied, everyday ways.

A few of the phrases that shape who we are:

• Formation over information — We're not here to fill your head; we're here to shape your life.

• Communion over compensation — Your worth isn't earned. It's received.

• Apprentice over attendee — You weren't made to sit and watch. You were made to follow and become.

How It Works: A Five-Tier Journey

Belonging Life is structured as a clear pathway of formation, meeting people wherever they are and walking with them into deeper transformation.

• Tier 0 — Foundations: A 6-week on-ramp that introduces the vision, language, and rhythms of Belonging Life, including online teaching and recorded lessons.

• Tier 1 — Bible & Practice Tracks: Building biblical literacy and learning the spiritual practices Jesus modeled and taught.

• Tier 2 — Wholistic Formation: A four-module curriculum covering your inner world, relationships, stewardship, and influence.

• Tier 3 — Apprentice Cohort & Life Track: An invitation-only, deeper community for those ready to go further in formation and leadership.

• Tier 4 — Deployment & Multiplication: Sending formed apprentices into the city to help others apprentice to Jesus in Phoenix and beyond.

• We believe formation happens in small, committed circles more than crowds.

• We gather corporately on Thursday's but it's a teaching and learning environment.

• We have a consistent message: Learn His way, Live His way, Love His people
